Leuven Marathon takes place on Sunday 19 April 2026 and builds on the course atmosphere of the 2025 European Running Championships. Start and finish are around Parkpoort and the Sportoase/Philipssite area. Runners can choose the 10 km, half marathon or marathon. The marathon and 10 km start at 09:00, while the half marathon starts at 14:15. All distances pass through Leuven city centre, with sections by the Grote Markt, the town hall, Sint-Pieterskerk, Bondgenotenlaan and the University Library. The marathon adds a green loop towards Heverleebos and the Brabantse Wouden, plus fast stretches along the canal. That gives the race a mix of city, crowds and longer rhythm sections in one Leuven race day.
