About the race
The Pieken+Dalen Festival is a new running and walking event on the Utrechtse Heuvelrug in aid of Diabetes+, a foundation for people with type 1 diabetes. Start and finish are at the festival grounds on the Hydeparklaan in Doorn. Runners choose from 5 km, 10 km, a half marathon or a full marathon; for the latter you run the half marathon course twice. Walkers can cover 5, 10 or 21 km. Afterwards there is a festival with music, food trucks, talks and a children's programme. You can get sponsored by friends and family.
