Maarten Maartens Trailrun

About the race

The Maarten Maartens Trailrun is being organised for the sixth time by the Trail & Running club Utrechtse Heuvelrug. Start and finish are at the historic Maarten Maartenshuis on the Zonheuvel estate in Doorn. The routes run through the Kaapse Bossen, are largely unpaved and fully marked with arrows and tape. You choose from 6 km, 10 km or 20 km (two laps); the 20 km starts at 1.15 pm. There is no electronic timing: you read your time from the race clock. Afterwards there is refreshment and the prize ceremony on the terrace steps.
