3Bergenloop

About the race

The 3Bergenloop sets off at RCN Het Grote Bos near Driebergen-Rijsenburg, over three distances: 6, 10 and 21 kilometres. Each distance is a single lap, run on unpaved paths, cycle paths and stretches of bridle path — the last of which means loose sand where the pace drops of its own accord. The half marathon crosses the Bornia Heidestein and Hoog Moersbergen estates; the shorter routes stay closer to the Grote Bos. The starts follow one another shortly after half past eleven. There are no finisher medals: the set-up is plain, with timing, a drink at the finish and a strongly local character.
