Openlakes Belgium is a triathlon weekend at the Lacs de l'Eau d'Heure, the largest lake district in Belgium. The swim goes from the banks of the Plate Taille, the bike leg runs on closed roads around the lakes and the run loops along the water. The programme counts seven formats and runs from a half triathlon of 1.9 kilometres swimming, 90 cycling and 21 running all the way down to Mini Kids over 50 metres, 1 kilometre and 500 metres. In between sit olympic, promo, teens and an entry format called My First Triathlon, which is exactly what it says. Entry is open to athletes with and without a disability.
