The Obbink Run is AV Archeus's traditional spring run in Winterswijk, with start and finish at sport complex De Hunenbulten on Vredenseweg. On Sunday 31 May 2026, young runners can cover 1 or 2 kilometres and adult participants choose between 5 and 10 kilometres; framerunners are also welcome. The youth course stays close to the Archeus track, while the 5 kilometres follows sandy paths in and around the Gossinkbos and the 10 kilometres returns through the countryside on unpaved roads via that same woodland. Electronic timing, water on the course and changing and shower facilities in the clubhouse give the day a solid race setup. With the countryside, the Gossinkbos and the club setting, the Obbink Run feels small-scale and familiar, but with enough terrain variety for runners looking for more than a standard road run.
