The Gerard Tebroke Memorialloop is Aalten's town-centre race, organised by AVA'70 in honour of local top runner Gerard Tebroke. Start and finish are on the Markt, so runners pass through the heart of the village and past the crowd several times. The programme combines 1 km and 2 km kids' runs, a school run, the Sorba 5 km, GUV Business Run and Ducona 10 km. With chip timing, medals for participants, aid each lap and an afterparty, the atmosphere stays local and lively while the race itself feels well organised for anyone who wants to run hard.
