The Mutotoloop is an evening race in Duisburg, a village in the municipality of Tervuren, starting and finishing at the car park of Pachthof Stroykens on the Merenstraat. Three distances are on offer: a short loop for those keeping it easy, 10 kilometres on the road and 16 kilometres running as a trail through the landscape around the village. The starts follow one another in the early evening, with the longest distance going first. What sets the race apart is where the proceeds go: entirely to the Mutoto project for street children in Lubumbashi in Congo, where the organisation works on shelter and family reunification. Running and supporting a cause coincide here.
