MS Motion crosses Park Vliegbasis Soesterberg, the former military airfield that is now open nature reserve — wide runways, little shelter and a lot of sky above you. There are two distances of 5 and 10 kilometres, and they are run, walked and rolled: handbikes and wheelchairs belong here just as much, which at an event about multiple sclerosis is not an afterthought but the starting point. Participants raise money for research into better treatment and a better life with MS. The field sits around twelve hundred, large enough for atmosphere and small enough to keep meeting the same people. It is organised by the Nationaal MS Fonds.
