Mensinge Marathon

About the race

The Mensinge Marathon is built around a lap of roughly 8.5 kilometres past Landgoed Mensinge near Roden. You decide how often you run it: two, three, four or five times, for 17, 25, 34 or 43 kilometres. Anyone wanting to stop at ten kilometres runs a short warm-up loop followed by one full lap. The course is partly unpaved, and in February the weather decides much of how hard it turns out: frozen, waterlogged or somewhere in between. Start and finish are at the estate on the Mensingheweg, with a tent for changing. Catering stations stand along the course and at the finish with food and drink. Loopgroep Roden organises the race.
