EcoTrail Brussels

About the race

EcoTrail Brussels is the capital's trail race, starting and finishing at the Boitsfort racecourse along the chaussée de la Hulpe. The courses loop around Brussels and end in the Sonian Forest, the vast beech woodland on the edge of the city. Distances range from 5 and 10 kilometres through 24 and 46 kilometres to an 80-kilometre ultra, which can also be covered in a Run-Bike-Bike format with three participants. The 46-kilometre course carries more than a thousand metres of climbing. Children have their own 1,300-metre trail, and there are walking routes of 10 and 24 kilometres. Sport&Santé organises the event with a pronounced ecological focus: a charter of twelve green measures, a personal cup as mandatory kit, and the Trail by Train Tour label encouraging participants to travel by rail.
