MeentRun Amstelveen

About the race

The MeentRun is the road race of the Amstelveen sports organisation, starting and finishing at the De Meent community centre on Orion. There are three events: a 1-kilometre Kids & Family Run in which children may run alongside a parent, and a 5 and 10 kilometres for everyone else. From De Meent the routes lead through the Waardhuizen district and the Bovenkerkerpolder, a quiet area on the edge of town that quickly turns open and green. The whole thing stays accessible and distinctly local: no large start pens or time limits, but a neighbourhood race on a Sunday morning.
