Marathon Zeeuws-Vlaanderen is a marathon weekend linking Hulst and Terneuzen. In 2026 the 16th edition runs in the even-year direction from Grote Markt in Hulst to the Markt in Terneuzen, passing the Hulst city walls, the Steense and Clingse forests, the Staats-Spaanse linies, Otheense Kreek and views towards the Westerschelde. About one third of the marathon course is unpaved. Alongside the individual marathon, the programme includes a relay marathon, 5 km and 10 km city races and the walking marathon on Sunday, so the event feels like a regional running weekend rather than a single distance.
