Maple Leaf Wintercup

About the race

The Maple Leaf Wintercup is a cross-country race in the wooded area between Hilversum and Baarn, organised by GAC Hilversum and the Baarnse Atletiek Vereniging. Start and finish are on the grounds around Bosbad De Vuursche. The course is unpaved and runs over a loop that you cover once to four times, depending on your distance. With a licence you run the short cross of 3.1 km or the long cross of 9.5 km; recreational runners choose a non-competitive distance of 2.7 to 9.5 km. For young runners there are races of 935 m and 1.7 km, and there is also fitness walking and Nordic walking.
