Lage Vuursche Trail

About the race

The Lage Vuursche Trail sets off at Natuurcamping De Zeven Linden near Lage Vuursche, a forest village below Baarn on the Utrechtse Heuvelrug. There are three distances: 10, 21 and 30 kilometres, with 44, 89 and 114 metres of climbing. That is strikingly little for this ridge — the routes stay largely on the flanks and do not seek out the tops, which makes the course run faster than the surroundings would suggest. The character comes from the forest: old beech avenues, narrow paths and sandy ground. Trail Events runs cup-free, so bringing your own cup or soft flask is part of it.
