About the race

The Schneider Electric Maasmarathon starts in Visé and follows a flat, fast course through the Meuse valley, with sections crossing the Belgian-Dutch border area. Alongside the marathon, the programme includes a half marathon, 10 km and 5 km, all sharing the same Basse-Meuse atmosphere. The start and finish at Place Reine Astrid give the event a compact centre, while the route opens out onto quiet roads, villages and riverside scenery. With long-distance races, shorter options and a strong regional setting, it suits both committed marathon runners and anyone looking for a quick spring road race.
