The Jogging du Père Noël is the December race of Slins, a village in the municipality of Juprelle north of Liège, setting off from the sports hall. There are three distances and they relate neatly to one another: 3.3, 6.6 and 9.9 kilometres, which is one, two or three times the same lap. That makes the choice simple — no weighing up different courses, just deciding how many times to go round. As a winter jogging it leans on what a village has to offer in December: a manageable course, a sports hall as a warm base, and a field drawn largely from the region.
