LoveLife Run - Den Helder 2026
The LoveLife Run in Den Helder is a 5-kilometre sponsored run organised by Fight cancer, based at the Noordwest hospital. What makes it distinctive is who lines up at the start: people living with or beyond cancer run alongside their families and their own doctors, nurses and physiotherapists. Many participants build towards it through a training programme of some twelve weeks, in which regaining fitness during or after treatment matters at least as much as the run itself. Participants collect sponsorship; the proceeds go to cancer research and to a local cause in the region. Everyone is welcome, including those who have never had cancer themselves.
