Bart Langedijk Oudejaarsloop

About the race

The Sport 2000 Bart Langedijk Oudejaarsloop of S.V. Noordkop Atletiek has been a tradition on the last day of the year in Den Helder for decades. The routes are laid out in the dunes around the town. You choose between the 10 km race or a 5 km recreational run, and for young people there's a free 1 km kids' run. The atmosphere is above all sociable: many runners take part to round off the year in sporting fashion. Since 2024 the run has carried the name of Sport 2000 Bart Langedijk, in recognition of years of support for the event.
