Loop naar de Pomp is the running event of the Pompdagen, the multi-day village festival of Heino in the Salland region. The start is on the Canadastraat, in the middle of the village. There are four events: a 5 and a 10 kilometres for adults, a youth run of 1.2 kilometres for eight to twelve year olds and a children's run of 650 metres for the youngest. The evening begins with the children and ends with the longest distance. The course runs over small roads through the Salland landscape around Heino. Because the race falls in the middle of the festival programme, it flows seamlessly into the rest of the evening's festivities. Stichting Heija Heino organises the whole event.
