Lemelerbergloop

About the race

A cross-country race on the Lemelerberg near Ommen, the largest nature reserve of Landschap Overijssel, and the opening round of the Vechtdal Cross Competition. The course is entirely off-road and hilly, with elevation changes that are considerable by Dutch standards. At 12:30 pm the youth run 2000 metres, at 1:00 pm the short cross of 6 kilometres starts, and at 2:00 pm the long cross of 12 kilometres follows. Organised since 2019 by athletics club ACO Van Elderen from Ommen.
