About the race

Loop Esch Door Tubbergen is a village race starting from the centre, with start and finish on the Raadhuisplein. From the heart of the village runners head out into the countryside across the Tubbergse Esch: a demanding but fast course that is largely closed to traffic. Alongside the 5 and 10 kilometres the programme has a walking route of 6 or 12 kilometres with a generous morning start window, and a G-run of 500 metres around the Pancratius basilica. The KidsRun divides the youngsters into five age groups running 500, 1000 or 1500 metres, each with its own start. Every distance has a cap on entries. That breadth makes the day feel more like a sporting village celebration than a standalone race.
