Livinusrun

About the race

The LivinusRun runs from Ghent to Sint-Lievens-Houtem, following the route associated with Saint Livinus. Every distance is an exact fraction of the marathon: an eighth, a quarter, a half, three quarters and the full 42.195 kilometres, finishing at the Hofkouter primary school. The marathon and the three-quarter start in Ghent, and that takes planning: you first travel to Sint-Lievens-Houtem, collect your bib there and take a bus to the start. Collecting bibs in Ghent's Keizerpark is no longer possible. Children have a KidsRun of their own at the finish. That set-up makes the race feel like a journey with a destination rather than a course.
