Les 10 Miles du Confluent is an evening race in Sprimont, in the province of Liège. The programme holds four distances, each counting towards a different classification within the same regional challenge: 2.8 kilometres for the youth, 6.1 kilometres in the short classification, 10.3 kilometres in the provincial ten-kilometre standings and 16.8 kilometres in the long distance one. That structure explains the unusual set of figures: these are not rounded distances but precisely measured courses. The youth set off first in the early evening, after which the three other distances start within ten minutes of one another. The race office opens well before the start.
