About the race

Experiment'Ale Winter Trail is an evening trail race in Esneux with three distances: 9 kilometres with 250 metres of climbing, 16 with 420 and 24 with 750. The starts fall in the early evening, with the longest distance setting off first and the shortest last — on a winter trail that immediately determines how much of your route lies in the dark. Each distance comes in two formulas. Choose Sportif and you run the classic competitive version; choose Festif and the aid stations serve beer and other drinks instead of just sports nutrition. Both set off at the same moment on the same course, so you decide for yourself how serious the evening becomes.
