Lelieloop Etten-Leur

About the race

The Lelieloop is the road race organised by Road Runners Etten-Leur on Whit Monday, embedded in the Leurse Havenfeesten festival. Start and finish are in front of Het Turfschip, which also provides changing rooms and showers, and every route runs straight through the De Lelie corn mill — part of the proceeds goes towards preserving it. Since 2023 each distance is a single loop. The 1000-metre children's run follows the Leurse Dijk and the Geerkade, the 2500-metre junior race circles the Schoenmakerspark, the 5 kilometres stays within the Schoenmakershoek district and the 10 kilometres heads out into the countryside along the Westpolderplas, with 560 metres of unpaved surface along the way. The race is cancelled if the temperature climbs above thirty degrees.
