Rondje Sprundel is the village race put on by the committee of the same name, held on the last Saturday of May at SV Sprundel. The afternoon opens with two youth races — 720 metres for ages five to nine and 1440 metres for ten to fourteen — after which the 5 and 10 kilometres set off together at four o'clock from the Hertog Janlaan. The finish is on the Hertogstraat, by the club car park. The 5 kilometres is a performance run, the 10 kilometres a full competition with an extensive prize list and a bonus for anyone who breaks the course record. Every finisher receives a free running shirt, and the race forms part of the Brabants Rondje, a regional running circuit.
