La Xhorisienne

About the race

La Xhorisienne is an evening trail race in Xhoris, a village in the municipality of Ferrières in the province of Liège. The start and finish are at the town hall on the Route de Hamoir. There are two distances, both setting off at six in the evening: 8.3 kilometres with 200 metres of climbing and 16.5 kilometres with 390. For those lengths that is a solid profile — the relief around Xhoris makes itself felt from the outset and flat sections are scarce. Both distances are open to all ages and offer three hundred places. The race is organised by the local youth association, which gives it a distinctly village character.
