La Gileppe Trophy

About the race

La Gileppe Trophy is a sporting weekend at the Gileppe reservoir, on the edge of the High Fens. The event spreads across three days, with a different discipline each day. Friday brings the running races, over 7.5 and 15 kilometres around the lake. Saturday offers cross triathlon in several formats, from sprint to long distance, alongside gravel rides of 70 and 110 kilometres and a recreational route. Sunday closes with a road triathlon over the Olympic distance and a shorter discovery distance, which is also open to athletes with disabilities. Sport & Tourism Promotion runs the whole weekend, in a setting of forest, water and moorland with few equals in Belgium.
