The Krachtcentrale 1/8 Triatlon in Heino is staged around the De Tippe swimming pool on De Spinde, where the swim leg also takes place. The main distance is an eighth triathlon from the age of fourteen: 500 metres of swimming, 22.5 kilometres of cycling and 5 kilometres of running. Alongside it is a kids triathlon for six to thirteen year olds, with four pool lengths of swimming, two kilometres of cycling and a kilometre of running, so the youngest can experience the three disciplines back to back as well. The whole programme runs in the morning and is carried by the Vrienden van De Tippe, the supporters' club of the local pool.
