Golden Tenloop

About the race

The Golden Tenloop turns the centre of Delft into a day of sport on Ascension Day, with the start on the Burgwal and the warm-up and prize-giving on the Beestenmarkt. The course runs through the historic old town, along the canals and through the greenery of the Delftse Hout, with spectators along almost the entire route. Runners choose between 5 and 10 kilometres; around midday the children run their kilometre and the youth 2.5 kilometres. There are also walking routes of 5, 10, 20 and 30 kilometres, which makes the event a full walking day as well. Race numbers are collected at the town hall on the Markt. The race is now approaching forty editions.
