Keppelrun

About the race

Keppelrun is Hoog-Keppel's running day, organised by the Commissie Keppelrun around Monumentenweg and sporthal De Hessenhal. On Sunday 14 June 2026 runners head through a typical Achterhoek coulisse landscape and two village centres, with distances for young runners, beginners, recreational participants and competitive athletes. The programme ranges from 500 m and 1 km youth runs to 2.5 km, 5 km and 10 km, with team entries also possible on the main road distances. The 2.5 km and 5 km routes partly pass over and alongside the Keppelse Golfclub, giving the course its own local flavour. Music, spectators along the route and a medal at the finish keep the atmosphere warm and village-like without making the event feel loosely organised.
