The Jogging Erpent Village runs through and around Erpent, a village on the edge of Namur. There are two distances: a little over five kilometres with just under thirty-five metres of climbing, and almost eleven kilometres with around seventy. Despite the word jogging in the name, this is not a flat road race: the course uses narrow paths, which is why the organisers advise against prams and joëlettes and do not allow dogs. The short distance sets off first in the late morning, the long one half an hour later. Both are capped at three hundred participants and open to all ages. Anyone who did not enter in advance can sign up on site from nine o'clock, while places last.
