The Jogging de Provedroux is an evening race in the hamlet of Provedroux near Vielsalm, starting and finishing at the local brasserie. There are two distances, 6 and 11 kilometres, which set off together at a quarter to eight in the evening. The course uses the roads and field tracks of the Ardennes countryside around Vielsalm, where the terrain supplies the elevation all by itself. The set-up is compact: no fringe programme, but a genuine race with a field of regional runners. That the brasserie serves as the start says something about the atmosphere: afterwards the field simply gathers there again.
