Trail de la Soupe

About the race

Trail de la Soupe is a winter trail race around La Roche-en-Ardenne, starting and finishing in the town itself. The programme is spread across two days: the 15 and 20 kilometres run on Saturday, the 12, 25 and 34 kilometres and the longest distance of 45 kilometres on Sunday. That leaves you the choice between a short introduction and a genuine ultra, or turning it into a weekend of two races. The course seeks out the unpaved Ardennes terrain, with the height differences and the mud that come with late November. Anyone entering early receives a personalised race number with their name on it. It is a classic no-frills trail set-up, in which the winter conditions form part of the challenge.
