5150 Westfriesland is the Olympic-distance race within the IRONMAN weekend in Hoorn. It combines a 1.5 km swim in the old harbour with 40 km of flat cycling through Westfriesland and a 10 km run through the historic city centre to the Stadsstrand finish. The compact format makes the race more accessible than the 70.3, while keeping the polished IRONMAN atmosphere and the fast course through city, harbour and polder landscape.
