Eenhoornloop

About the race

The Eenhoornloop is the autumn classic of West Friesland, organised by Loopgroep Hoorn. Start and finish are at the club's track on Holenweg, next to swimming pool De Waterhoorn. The 1.2 km youth run and the 5 km stay on and around that track. The 10 km and the 16.1 km head via the IJsselmeerdijk towards Schellinkhout, with views over the Markermeer and the city of Hoorn. The course is low-traffic and there is an aid station every 5 km. The 16.1 km starts at 11.00 a.m., the youth a little earlier. Timing is done by hand; late registration is possible on the day itself.
