IMMORUN in Tervuren is a relay for people working in the real estate sector, organised by Immobel. A team consists of three colleagues who each take on a leg of their own: 9, 6 and 3 kilometres. The race has no individual finish — the three team members cross the line together, which puts the emphasis on the team rather than on the fastest runner. Afterwards the event turns into a walking dinner, where the networking matters at least as much as the running. That places IMMORUN somewhere between a sporting competition and an industry gathering, and makes taking part more of a joint undertaking than a personal performance.
