Hardloopfeest door Oud-Beijerland

About the race

Het Hardloopfeest dwars door Oud-Beijerland is an evening run over 5 and 10 kilometres through the closed-off centre of this Hoeksche Waard village. The course is a 2.5-kilometre loop: those running the 5 kilometres cover two laps, the 10 kilometres four. Music is set up every five hundred metres, and because you pass through the same centre several times there are spectators almost the whole way. The 5 kilometres starts at 19.00 and the 10 kilometres at 20.00. There is official timing, a water station on every lap and a medal for every finisher; afterwards there are drinks at De Heeren van Beijerland. The athletics club AV Spirit organises the race together with the team behind the Wandel Feest Hoeksche Waard.
