The GO Triathlon plays out in the historic heart of Zierikzee. You start swimming from the water of the Nieuwe Haven and come out at the Oude Haven, where the transition zone also sits — the change from swim to bike is therefore short and easy to read. The bike course is a lap of 20 kilometres over the service and polder roads east of the town; the 2.5 kilometre run loop runs right along the centre. There are two formats: the eighth triathlon does one bike lap and two run laps, the quarter twice that. The finish is at the Havenpark by the bandstand.
