The Foulée de Villers-la-Tour is a village race in Villers-la-Tour, part of the commune of Chimay, starting and finishing on the Rue du Village. The programme holds four distances and steps up neatly: a children's run of 500 metres, a youth run of 1.5 kilometres, and then 5 and 9.5 kilometres for adults. That 9.5 is not a rounded ten but the actual length of the loop, exactly as the organisers announce it. The set-up stays deliberately simple: no fringe programme, but a proper race the whole village can join, from the youngest children to runners chasing a serious time.
