For one day the Festival Trail Semois takes over Herbeumont, where the Semois winds through the Ardennes forests. The word festival is meant literally: alongside five timed trails from 9 to 70 kilometres there are three canicross trails for those running with a dog, three walking routes plus a wild hike, and two children's races. The courses cross private land and paths opened up for this day only, which makes the routes unique but also means participants are asked not to share the tracks. Afterwards the site turns into an AfterTrail with concerts, a DJ and a barbecue. The proceeds go to two charities.
