Feanster 40 Triathlon is Surhuisterveen's compact triathlon, with the swim at Zwembad Wettervlecke and the finish on De Kolk in the village centre. On Sunday 14 June 2026 the race covers 1 km of swimming, 30 km of cycling and 9 km of running. Participants start in waves, keeping the day manageable for athletes and spectators. The bike course is made up of four low-traffic 7.5 km laps, followed by a run with an approach section and repeated laps back towards the central finish. With its pool swim, Frisian village setting and clear race structure, the Feanster 40 is an accessible triathlon that still feels like a proper race day.
