The FBK Dubbele Mijl is the accessible race built around the FBK Games in Hengelo. The distance is exactly two English miles, 3218.69 metres: short, fast and achievable, but with a setting you rarely get. The start is inside the FBK Stadion, where athletes such as Dafne Schippers, Femke Bol, Lieke Klaver and Sifan Hassan surpassed themselves; the finish and the prize-giving are in the middle of Hengelo town centre. Every participant receives a medal. The programme makes room for school pupils, frame runners, Running Blind pairs, individual runners and company teams, with the main start following the schools competition and the frame runners. The race is organised together with LAAC Twente, placing the accessible side alongside the elite sport of the Games.
