Drielse Kersenrun

About the race

The Drielse Kersenrun opens the final day of the Kersenfeest, the annual festival week of the Gelderland village of Driel. The start and finish are on Patrijsstraat, right by the marquee, where participants can also use the toilets and the bar. The morning begins with a kids' run you can simply sign up for on the spot, and half an hour later the 5 and 10 kilometres set off. Both distances are exact and are run in two or four laps through the village, with timing for every participant. Because the course is a lap circuit and the marquee sits on the route, there are spectators almost the whole way.
