Donkmeerloop - De Mooiste Halve

About the race

The Donkmeerloop, also known as De Mooiste Halve ("The Most Beautiful Half"), is a half marathon and 10 km around the Donkmeer in Berlare. Start, finish and registration are at the Festivalhal on Donklaan, with the finish in front of a grandstand. The course passes the Nieuwdonk, the banks of the Scheldt and the Donkmeer. The 10 km starts at 11.30 a.m., the half marathon at 1 p.m., with pacers from 1:20 to 2:10. Only advance registration is possible, and every participant receives a medal. The run has sold out for years: at the time of checking, the half marathon was already full.
