Deurne City Run is an evening race through the centre of Deurne, with start and finish on the Markt and a programme that deliberately brings the local hospitality scene into the event. On Saturday 13 June 2026, the evening starts at 18:00 with the Finstream parent/child run, followed at 19:00 by the Knapen Trailers 10 km relay. That relay is run in teams of two to four on a 2.5-kilometre lap. At 20:15, the 5 km Houthandel Fransen individual race closes the running programme with two laps through the centre. Electronic timing is provided for every part of the event, and prize ceremonies take place directly after each distance on the Markt. With short laps, terraces and a free spectator zone, Deurne City Run feels more like a sporty town-centre evening than a standalone race on a closed course.
