The Lavans Halve van Helmond is a broad running and walking event with Brandevoort as its recognisable base. On Sunday 12 April 2026, the running events started and finished at De Plaetse in De Veste, with the 10 km using a separate start on the Broederwal. The paved course uses loops of 5 km and 10.55 km; the half marathon covers two loops and is officially measured by the Dutch athletics federation. Alongside the 5 km, 10 km and half marathon, there are kids runs, walking distances, a business run and an inclusive Uniekloop, making the event much more than just a fast half marathon.
