The Gulbergen Trail is a compact trail race on the Gulbergen estate near Mierlo, built around a 3.4-kilometre lap run once, twice or three times. That gives distances of 3.4, 7.25 and 10.3 kilometres. The terrain is what sets it apart from a road race: the lap has real elevation change and a crossing over the canal, so each circuit brings a few solid climbs. Children aged seven to fifteen have their own Kids Trail with a climb of its own, so they get to conquer the hill too. Race numbers are handed out on the day beside the building on the estate.
