Brabantse Kluis Trail

About the race

The Brabantse Kluis Trail sets off at Herberg de Brabantse Kluis on the Kloosterdreef in Aarle-Rixtel. There are three distances: 10, 21 and 32 kilometres, with 20, 45 and 56 metres of climbing respectively. Those are honest figures for south-east Brabant — here the pace is set not by the climbing but by the surface, with forest track, sandy stretches and narrow paths. Because all three routes start and finish in the same place, everything converges on one point. Trail Events runs cup-free: no cups are handed out at the stations, so your own cup or soft flask belongs in the kit. The set-up is otherwise deliberately plain.
